“Investi nel nostro pianeta”
Questo è il titolo scelto quest’anno per la giornata mondiale dedicata alla Terra appena trascorsa.
Siamo ormai consapevoli che il cambiamento climatico è una realtà innegabile. TUTTI ne vediamo le conseguenze ogni giorno, e TUTTI abbiamo non solo il diritto, ma anche il DOVERE di fare ciascuno la propria parte; nessuno escluso.
L’informazione al riguardo è ormai diffusa, i dati e le evidenze scientifiche non mancano.
Ciononostante, scene come queste sono ormai all’ordine del giorno:
Governi, cittadini ed imprese sono ben informati di quanto, tutto questo, peserà immancabilmente sul futuro, ma considerato quel che si vede in giro, sembra proprio vigere il detto “non c’è peggior sordo di chi non vuol sentire”.
L’aver istituito una ricorrenza internazionale per fare informazione sullo stato dell’ambiente, e su come poter inquinare meno e preservare gli ecosistemi, è si importante, ma serve a ben poco se le persone non ne prendono atto.
Occorre cambiare ora modello imprenditoriale, politico e di azione. Occorre un coraggioso orientamento all’ambiente, all’innovazione ed all’equità, volto a preservare e proteggere la nostra salute, le nostre famiglie ed il nostro sostentamento.
Non è un film quello che vediamo tutti i giorni, e purtroppo la verità può superare di gran lunga la fantasia dei film-maker più sfrenati nel tema catastrofico-futuristico.
Credo che quasi nessuno aspiri ad un futuro tipo “Blade Runner” o “Mad Max” o “L’alba del giorno dopo”, e credo che almeno i bambini meritino molto di più di quello…

Earth Day 2022
“Invest In Your Planet”
That’s the title representing our future task: “eco-friendly responsibility”.
At this point, we are conscious about the impact of climate change across our wonderful Blue Planet. As a matter of fact, we can see it everyday; wherever we are. Therefore, EACH OF US will have both RIGHTS AND DUTIES to preserve our future.
On the one hand, scientific evidences are widespread nowadays. On the other hand, scenes like the ones you can see above in the article are even too much familiar.
As a result, governments as well as citizens and businesses know well how much important an environmentally-friendly policy is for the future of human being. However, as far as what we can see daily around us is concerned, it seems that “there is none so deaf as he who will not hear” actually.
In my opinion, establishing an international recurring event to encourage eco-friendly habits is really important, but unfortunately it’s not enough. What would be necessary is that people acknowledge this kind of situation.
This is the moment to change it all: the business climate, the political climate, and how we take action on climate. We need to act (boldly), innovate (broadly), and implement (equitably). Now is the time for the unstoppable courage to preserve and protect our health, our families, and our livelihoods.
We are not living in a block-buster movie, and in fact real-life could be even worst than apocalyptic and post-apocalyptic disaster fictions showed on tv nowadays.
Maybe hardly anyone strives for a kind of “Blade Runner” rather than “Mad Max” or “The day after tomorrow” future. Anyhow, children deserves a better future, don’t they?
